Commissioners debated for more than an hour over language in a resolution authorizing a grant application to the Texas Historical Commission for historic courthouse preservation. Commissioner S2 raised concerns that the resolution as drafted suggested the court had already "prepared the master plan for use" and that the court had not seen or approved the final plan; staff and county counsel responded that the master plan is still malleable and that the application deadline required immediate action.
