Township road report: mill work on Becker Rd., equipment repairs and new hire reported

The Jefferson Township road report read at the Nov. 10 meeting described several maintenance and equipment items. Officials rented a road planner from Herc Rentals to mill a section of Becker Road and installed a 24-inch catch basin with a 6-inch M-top at a pipe inlet on Frazier Road to address erosion. Two township trucks required repairs: the 2019 F550 had repairs including exhaust manifold work and parts estimated at $2,013.91, and the 2015 F550 was repaired with tailgate and side work costing $4,871.01.
