Tree Board reports Tree City USA recertification, plans Arbor Day celebration July 10
Tree Board member Nancy Thill reported that Tree City USA recertification was approved on Feb. 21, 2025, requested permission to use the Tree City USA logo on village materials, and announced an Arbor Day event on July 10, 2025 at 10 a.m. EST.

Nancy Thill, who participated via Zoom, reported that Brian Gerdes of AEP completed line‑trim work in the village and that Tree City USA recertification was approved as of Feb. 21, 2025. She asked the council for permission to use the Tree City USA logo on the village website and letterhead to reflect the recertification.
