County staff: Historic courthouse plan will ask THC which 'era' to fund

Staff told the Montgomery County Commissioners Court the historic courthouse master plan is about 50% complete and the next step is to ask the Texas Historical Commission which construction 'era' (1936 core or later wings) would be eligible for funding; that decision will determine whether the county can seek state construction dollars now or must wait until about 2028.
