Several residents used the public-comment period at the Aug. 6 Douglas County commission meeting to press for concrete follow-up on longstanding local complaints. Jim Jackson opened public comment by asking for an update on ‘‘the loss of $60,000 or the potential loss of $60,000’’ related to developers and asked whether anyone had been held accountable; he said the public has heard little about the resolution and asked that the county provide follow-through and updates.
