Board approves shared cost for tree removal, budgets storm-drain and intersection repairs

Keith Leitzinger reported that crews cut and trimmed trees that were causing major blockages for drivers and that there were no trees requiring urgent removal. He said a tree in the square park that was struck by lightning is being monitored but is expected to recover. Leitzinger identified a village-owned tree on Third Street that had branches overhanging a residence at 730 3rd Street and discussed options for trimming or removal.
