David McMorries, Chief Information Security Officer at Oregon State University, told the committee that the university is pursuing a zero‑trust approach to cybersecurity. "McMorries explained OSU’s zero‑trust architecture approach based on a Smart Access platform that provides access to information based on an employee’s identity type," the record shows, and he said OSU now has a single point of login for most apps and services used by employees.
