Sioux County schedules joint public hearing and budget hearing; requests lodging-permit list from state
The board set a Joint Public Hearing for Sept. 15 at 6 p.m., scheduled the county budget hearing for Sept. 1 at 1 p.m., and authorized a request to the Nebraska Department of Revenue for the current lodging tax permit holders list.

At the Aug. 3 meeting, the Sioux County Board of Commissioners scheduled a Joint Public Hearing for Sept. 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sioux County Courthouse meeting room. The board also established the 2026–2027 Sioux County Budget Hearing for Sept. 1 at 1:00 p.m. and voted to send a letter to the Nebraska Department of Revenue requesting the current list of lodging tax permit holders for Sioux County.
