The Itasca County Board on July 21 approved and authorized signatures for the 2025–2027 collective bargaining agreement between Itasca County and Law Enforcement Labor Services Local 644 representing sheriff sergeants. County Administrator Brett Skyles presented the item; the motion passed 4–0 with Commissioner Casey Venema moving and Commissioner John Johnson seconding.
