The Itasca County Board of Commissioners on June 9 approved a collective bargaining agreement with Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local 598, covering licensed supervisory peace officers for Jan. 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2027. The motion passed 4 to 0, with Commissioner Casey Venema recorded as the mover and Commissioner Larry Hopkins as the seconder; Commissioner Terry Snyder was absent.
