Board approves electrical contractor application for German Falco/Granadil

"I have more than 10 years of experience, doing electrical work for residential, commercial, and some industry work," the applicant said, adding he supervises crews, runs safety briefings and performs planning for jobs. Board members discussed the union membership verification and employment records; given the applicant's combined documentary and testimonial evidence, a motion to approve the electrical contractor application passed on a voice vote and the chair congratulated him.

Why it matters: An electrical contractor license permits supervising and performing electrical installations subject to local code and inspection. The board flagged that some third-party verifications (IBEW) were not verified before the meeting, and staff noted the need for documentation to support journeyman or contractor-level credentials where required.
