Commission approves zone change for Battle Mountain parcels to allow industrial use
A zone change application (26-0007) by Battle Born / CLEA Properties LLC to convert several parcels in Battle Mountain to M‑Industrial (including boundary adjustments and required flood‑elevation conditions) was approved after staff and Planning Commission recommendation.

The board opened a public hearing on Zone Change Application 26‑0007 to change several APNs near North 2nd Street and North Trescot Street in Battle Mountain from mixed residential and agricultural to M‑Industrial to allow laydown yards and other industrial uses. Shelby (planning staff) said the Planning Commission forwarded a recommendation and explained that a boundary line adjustment was recorded in conjunction with the zone change.
