Council told extra construction‑management months are needed as public‑works building nears completion

Staff updated council on the Public Works building project and asked to extend construction management through October with an additional $25,000 per month. The presenter said New Road Construction Management began as part‑time during RFP negotiations but shifted to full‑time as the project progressed: “It's 25,000 dollars a month is what we're paying them for construction management services full time,” and staff requested the extra funds for August, September and October.
