The Fort Smith board voted to reelect Dr. Goodman as chair for the upcoming year after a nomination and second on the floor. A committee member nominated the incumbent and a second followed; Dr. Goodman said, "I'll pass," declining to cast a vote for himself, and the other members voted to confirm him.
