Councilors discussed a draft data‑center ordinance provided by the Erie County Department of Planning and a proposed draft Solicitor Andy Schmidt previously prepared for another township. Council agreed that the borough should develop its own ordinance with additional restrictions beyond the county template and instructed Solicitor Schmidt to work with Borough Manager Cindy Wells to prepare a proposed municipal ordinance for council review.
