The commissioners convened an executive session to discuss multiple claims and property matters, including collision and property-claim settlements, retention of outside counsel for pending litigation, an offer to purchase a building on US 59, and possible extension of a solar lease on county school lands. After returning to open session the court instructed staff to accept recommended settlement reimbursements and to move ahead with offers and negotiations as discussed in executive session.
