Commission approves hire, temporary promotions and bereavement-leave amendment

The commission approved hiring Leslie Grimmell as a full-time Building Permit Technician at $46,500 (effective April 7), temporary grade increases for two dispatchers (hourly $27.64) while serving as acting supervisors, and an amendment to Policy 208 adding up to three hours paid administrative leave for attending employee funerals; the merit policy update was also approved.
