Monroe council votes unanimously on special event resolution and immediately adjourns

After a brief roll call on July 28, 2025, the Monroe Common Council approved a Public Safety Committee resolution authorizing Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greene County to hold the "Tour de Cheese" bike fundraiser on Aug. 2, 2025. The clerk conducted the roll call and each present member recorded an "aye," leading the presiding official to declare, "And that passes unanimously."
