The Jefferson Select Board on Sept. 9 directed staff to advertise a Request for Bid (RFB) to grade 2.5 miles of Egypt Road, from Route 215 to the Alna town line. The board recorded that bids must be received by Oct. 4, 2024, and that the work should be completed by Nov. 1, 2024. The stated scope is grading, grinding and rolling with a 2-inch base of hot top and a 16-foot-wide surface.
