Reading council hears delay, remaining work on MELS street project
Engineers told the council that Mead’s subcontractor 'Martin J' pushed back concrete work to the week of Oct. 20, complicating driveway access; major utilities and base work are complete but curb, driveways, sidewalks and paving remain, with some work expected into Spring 2026.
