During discussion of the draft Code of Ethics, Commissioner Steve Yoder asked if the County needed both the new Code of Ethics and a separate Conflict of Interest policy, recommending legal review to resolve the question. The minutes record that "Commissioner Yoder suggested having legal tell us if the Code of Ethics Policy would satisfy as our Conflict of Interest, where we wouldn’t have to have both."
