County honors Webb County native Olympian Jennifer Lozano; commissioners cite local support

Mara Mendez, the county’s public information officer, introduced Jennifer Lozano to the commissioners so she could personally thank them for financial support the county provided to help her family travel to the Paris Olympics. Lozano said while training in Germany she learned the county had given a donation that allowed her family to attend. "I got the news that the court and Webb County had given a generous donation to my family to go to Paris," Lozano said, and she thanked commissioners for the support during a difficult time.
