Court authorizes settlements for three claims after executive session

The court entered executive session on five items involving settlement claims and a lease-extension matter. Returning to open session, counsel advised the court they sought authority to proceed as discussed in executive session on the first three items and to renegotiate the lease terms for item 35. "We're just asking, for authority to proceed as discussed in executive session with, the 1st 3 items," counsel said when the court reconvened; commissioners voted to approve the actions for items 31–33. Item 34 remains pending clarification from CPS and the appraisal district; terms for item 35 were approved for renegotiation.
