Parish President Pete Delcomb told the council staff recently learned of a potential $685,000 available from a previously closed I‑10 service‑road account and that the Office of Facility Planning and Control (FP&C) prefers repurposed funds be used for I‑10 service‑road projects. He said the money is not in parish possession and that if a viable project is not identified before the legislature reconvenes, the funds may be swept back to the state.
