Modena sewer pump cleared after rag blockage; heater inspection estimate pending
Council reported a rag-caused blockage on a Union Street pump that was removed and the pump returned to service; staff said an annual heater inspection will generate a repair estimate for future action.

During the Aug. 3 council meeting, the sewer-flow report indicated flows were normal and staff confirmed a nonfunctional pump on Union Street had been taken offline because of a rag blockage. The blockage was removed and the pump restored to service during routine maintenance.
