Road and Bridge supervisor flags multiple road repairs and a broken hydraulic pump
Superintendent Travis Story told Smith County commissioners on June 22 about damage on several gravel roads and bridges — including a hole on 240 Rd, broken planks at 100 Rd and K Rd (barricaded), and a cracked hydraulic pump on the sheep's foot that must be sent to Concordia for repair.

Commission Chair Kurt Ifland and Commissioner Brady Peterson raised multiple road concerns during the June 22 meeting and asked Road and Bridge Supervisor Travis Story to inspect several locations. Ifland noted a hole in 240 Rd east of L Rd at the bridge and reported a landowner request for a tube to serve an alfalfa field on 140 Rd between M Rd and L Rd. Peterson said 165 Rd between the city limits and R Rd has several holes and water running down the middle of the road.
