Board approves change orders for sheriff's range, transfer and blanket purchase orders

Rogers County commissioners approved two change orders for the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office firearms range tower that will be paid by the Sheriff's Office. The first change order was $3,026.40 for outdoor receptacles, electrical conduit for future low-voltage and lighting in the bathroom per fire code. The second change order was $2,664.55 for a wiring run for internet services. Both were approved on motions that passed unanimously.

The board also approved a transfer of $1,500 from Planning & Zoning Fee Maintenance & Operations (1219-1-3200-2005) to Planning & Zoning Fee Capital Outlay (1219-1-3200-4110) to purchase equipment for the code enforcement officer. Commissioners approved August payroll and 77 blanket purchase orders totaling $212,385.00 for materials, supplies, parts, groceries and prescriptions. Each of those motions passed on unanimous roll-call votes.

The minutes identify the responsible funding accounts for the $1,500 transfer and record that the two change orders will be paid by RCSO; they do not provide the contracting vendor names or further procurement details for the range work.
