Planning board urges resumption of General Code codification
Members of Jordan's Planning/Zoning Board told the Board of Trustees that the General Code codification project has stalled since 2020 and provided a list of 13 outstanding questions; the board agreed to continue with codification and to route editorial review of local laws enacted since 2020 to General Code.

Rob Meixner, a member of the Village of Jordan Planning/Zoning Board, told the trustees the General Code codification project that began years ago needs to resume and that the contractor's work has "pretty much been frozen since 2020." He said editorial review will be necessary for local laws passed since 2020.
