The Floyd County Board of Supervisors set key canvass dates for an upcoming special election on Sept. 8, 2026. The board scheduled the Tier 1 canvass for Sept. 15, 2026, and the Tier 2 canvass for Sept. 22, 2026; both canvasses were set to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Floyd County Courthouse boardroom. The motion to set the canvass dates carried 3-0.
