Questions from property owner delay final lease for EMS cabin site

The county has acquired an EMS cabin with grant funding (purchased in 2024) and has been negotiating a lease with a property owner, identified in the minutes as Ms. Vavra, for siting the cabin. County Attorney Dennis Golbricht updated the board that Ms. Vavra has raised new questions and concerns about the lease that must be addressed before final documents can be executed, and no final lease was approved at the June 9 meeting.
