Superintendent Hood presented a proposal from Higginbotham to purchase major medical insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield for the 2026–27 plan year and recommended acceptance "as presented." The board voted to accept the proposal; the motion was made by Cole Bosworth and seconded by Jeremy Burns and recorded as unanimous.
