Chair Neal Andrew reviewed nine items the committee has completed since inception, including securing a CMGC contractor, hiring transportation and emergency-response consultants, adding partners such as Novant and Duke Energy, attending NCDOT meetings and creating a project website and FAQ page. He stressed the committee's role as a conduit for information provided by NCDOT and the Town.
