Lubbock ISD’s new LIVE virtual school enrolls about 50 students as program opens
Lubbock ISD launched a virtual program called LIVE in August; 127 students applied, roughly 51–52 were enrolled when classes began Aug. 17, and eligibility included grade-level reading and STAAR-based criteria for grades 1–3. Staff said many enrollees were previously non-LISD students and are collecting impact data.
