The board denied one solid waste abatement request, recommended replacing fluorescent bulbs with LED fixtures in the district court office, and authorized hiring a temporary worker for courthouse lawn care; the Wellness Center use request was limited to members for both trainer and trainee.

During the July 20 meeting, Patrina Frazier raised a lighting issue in the district court office; Commissioners recommended replacing the fluorescent bulbs with LED bulbs. Clerk Ashley Maxwell discussed courthouse lawn maintenance and the board agreed to hire an individual to fill in if needed. Maxwell also reported a request to use the Wellness Center for individual training; the commissioners stipulated that both the trainer and trainee must hold memberships.
