The Smith County Commissioners conducted a sequence of short executive sessions July 27 to discuss evaluations of non‑elected personnel. The minutes record separate five- and ten-minute sessions attended by Road & Bridge supervisors Travis Story and John Kautz and by individual employees including Cole Morgan, Jeremy Presbrey, JR Rice, Jolan Richardson, Isaac Skidmore, Tom Story, David Tucker, Orion Walker, Ethan White and Rickie Williams. Each session was described as an executive session for non-elected personnel evaluation and reconvened to regular session with no action reported.
