The Adair County Board of Supervisors on Aug. 3 approved Resolution #2026-43, appointing outside attorneys and entities to serve as special prosecutors in criminal, juvenile, mental-health and substance-abuse hospitalization cases under Iowa Code Section 331.754. Supervisor Hoadley moved to adopt the resolution and Supervisor Wedemeyer seconded; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with Walker, Christoffersen, Baier, Hoadley and Wedemeyer voting aye.
