Gwen Johnston, Veterans’ Affairs Director, and board member John Schildberg presented the Veterans’ Affairs fiscal-year report, telling the Board the office met with 442 veterans and submitted 156 claims during the year. Schildberg said the office used $900 of a $10,000 budget amendment and will return the remaining funds to county coffers.
