Drainage improvements cleared by SFWMD and VOE; bid documents finalized

Charlie Krebs reported that the drainage improvement plans for the community have received approvals from the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and that the Village of Estero has approved the construction permits. Krebs said bid documents have been finalized and will be provided for contractors to pick up; staff discussed advertising, the bid opening meeting, a mandatory pre‑construction meeting and project timing with regard to hurricane season and flood prevention goals.
