The Senate adopted a concurrent resolution introduced by Senator Bennett to declare November 2026 as Lung Cancer Awareness Month in South Carolina. The reading clerk presented the resolution on the floor and, after unanimous-consent requests for immediate consideration, the chamber approved the measure by voice vote.
