County-funded opioid/meth treatment program presented to Bay County commissioners
Bay County Community Corrections presented an opioid- and meth-specific residential and outpatient program funded in part by county opioid settlement dollars, describing program structure, recent enrollments and how settlement funds have been used.

Lisa Neil, representing Bay County Community Corrections, told the Board of Commissioners on Sept. 1 that the county is using opioid settlement funds to support a targeted program for chronic opioid and methamphetamine users and to expand services at a residential diversion site she identified in the presentation. Neil described residential and outpatient services, medical and behavioral-health support, and aftercare planning for people leaving the program.
