Caltrans outlines multi‑location work and planned four‑hour closures on Routes 197 and 199

Caltrans project manager Izzy Canopa updated the Del Norte Local Transportation Commission on active work on Routes 197 and 199, described construction stages at multiple post‑mile locations, and said full closures (Tues–Thurs, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.) will be used for certain segments with 30‑day public notice and coordination with emergency services.
