The Farmington City Council unanimously approved a text amendment to Title 8 clarifying sidewalk maintenance responsibilities on July 21, 2026. City Planner Shannon Hansell presented the amendment, which adds language to support code enforcement and states that property owners must keep sidewalks abutting their property clear of obstructions.
