Aurora officials hear update on two 5 MW community solar fields and resident subscriptions
Progressive Energy told council two 30‑acre, 5 MW solar fields near the Aurora Airport and south of Route 30 will produce about 20 million kWh annually, open resident subscriptions this month and come online in November; the city expects modest rent, tax and subscription savings.
