Jefferson Township supervisors approved a Planning Commission recommendation to allow a 16-by-33-foot two-story addition at 184 Hannahstown Road to be sited 45.5 feet from the road edge, a 4.5-foot reduction from the 50-foot ordinance requirement; the existing driveway will be removed.

The board approved a Planning Commission recommendation and a motion by Chairman John Cypher to grant a 4.5-foot front-yard setback modification for Aaron McGarvey’s property at 184 Hannahstown Road. The modification allows a proposed 16 ft. by 33 ft. two-story addition to be positioned 45.5 ft. from Hannahstown Road instead of the 50 ft. required by township ordinances; the existing driveway will be eliminated.
