The Select Board voted to issue an RFP seeking proposals to install a solar generating field on a portion of the North Brookfield landfill at 58 East Brookfield Road. "It is being proposed to maximize the use of the site for a solar generating field to produce renewable energy," the presenter said while outlining the draft RFP and noting staff preference to exclude battery energy storage from the town-led proposal.
