Commissioners schedule Jan. 6 hearing after discussing multiple road maintenance requests
Smith County commissioners discussed rolling and grading assignments, fence removal, dozer work, fuel bids and scheduled a public hearing for a requested partial closure of 70 Rd on Jan. 6, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.

County road operations were a major focus of the Dec. 16 meeting. Assistant Road Supervisor Travis Story reported that the blade man should assist with rolling on M Rd and that Justin Kline will remove a fence on 230 Rd this week. Commissioners were told the dozer work at the state line should be completed this week.
