The Westford Selectboard voted 4-0 Aug. 27 to approve a new budget for a Brookside Road path scoping study that will include an archaeological assessment. The Planning Commission had already voted to use some of its special projects funds as a match; the Selectboard approved the project budget and agreed to pursue grants as an alternative source of matching funds.
