Commission to schedule work session on temporary RV habitation before November sunset

Commission members agreed at the June 11 meeting to convene a separate work session to review the temporary habitation of recreational vehicles and the permitting memo provided by the permitting official. Chair S1 said the panel received a memo and that, because only three members were present, a focused session was needed for detailed review.

Commission member S4 summarized the manager's request to discuss "what the plans will be when the expiration of the temporary habitation of RV resolution expires this year" and the commission agreed the clerk should coordinate a Doodle poll to set the work-session date. Commissioners noted this discussion ties to upcoming International Building Code (IBC) adoption and broader zoning work, and emphasized the need to address the item before the November sunset date.

The work session will allow commissioners to examine required documentation, consider public-safety conditions (for example, emergency response and seasonal management contacts), and determine whether to recommend changes before the resolution lapses.
