County permitting staff reported 26 building permits issued in August, including two commercial projects — a commercial bin for Meriden Green Company and a boat‑storage building at Springbrook Marina in Seneca — and no new single‑family homes. Brian also reported eight non‑EPA inspections opened in the month and 17 IEPA inspections including complaint inspections and reinspections.
