Greg Clem, current operator of SmartBus, presented detailed operational changes the operator says would ease Broadway congestion and improve safety. Clem recommended removing the mascot stop, consolidating nearby stops, and retaining a 5th‑Street stop while adding or relocating other stops (4th/4th.5 and City Hall/7th) to maintain roughly two‑block spacing where possible.
